A massing model is a simple form of model used to show the general shape and size of existing buildings. All elements that obstruct light and create shadows are represented as well. Internal areas can also be shown in simplified form. The model can include a ground surface model to show the surrounding area. Typically, massing models are used to demonstrate rights of light issues or for scheme bid proposals.
3DScan2CAD works with a precision of 30mm in every single 3D model.
